The Senior Manager, Fraud Data Governance is responsible for supporting the overall data strategy and vision including deployment of data governance capabilities across the Fraud Management Group. Contributes to the mobilization of the Fraud data domain ensuringinitiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

  • Leading an operating model of the Fraud data domain, mobilizing guidelines to establish and mature the data governance program

  • Creating and defining a data domain interaction model and adoption of a data culture across the Fraud enterprise

  • Establishing and maintaining a Fraud Data Governance Council and Data Domain Working Groups providing action items, decisions made, escalations, meeting notes, and attendee tracking

  • Driving coordination and insight of the data organization by defining data management guidelines and standards; oversee and ensure adherence for data providers and consumers for Fraud enterprise (IB and CB) working with existing enterprise data domain working groups (Data Office)

  • Integrating data architecture to increase data accuracy and reconciliationto minimize technical debt while also enabling priority business cases where required

  • Creating and maintaining a change management strategyto drive adoption of a fraud data culture leveraging stakeholder management, communication and training where required

  • Leading the adherence to Data Management policies, standards and processes; keeping abreast with industry best practices and creating measurable testing and reporting methodologies

  • Leading a data quality issue remediation plan across the fraud data domain through the identification and tracking of DQ issues, analysis of root cause issues, designing and executing remediation plans

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders internal and external to the organization such as Enterprise Data Office, Risk Management, Audit, product groups and external partners

  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • University degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a data governance leadership role

  • Experience and knowledge of data governance and standing up a data domain

  • Strong ability to influence/communicate with stakeholders across functions and at all levels (BU, IT, Ops, executives)

  • Strong leadership and project management experience

  • Experience with SQL, Google Cloud Platform data management tools: Collibra, Governance Consul, Universal Catalogue is an asset

  • Strong Microsoft experience (PowerPoint, Power BI reporting, Visio, Excel)

  • Agile experience is an asset
